This month, Italy 2000 is honored to be able to host a very special event at our La Brea showroom. Step Up along with media partner Angelino are set to have a morning conversation with Drybar founder Alli Webb, to be moderated by Step Up CEO, Jenni Luke.
Step Up Women’s Network is a national non-profit organization that encourages teens to reach their full potential, and to inspire women to inspire girls. Through professional development, teen empowerment and mentorship programs, Step Up has been able to help under-resourced girls gain the confidence and encouragement to succeed and become future leaders themselves.
The intention behind this Power Breakfast is to start the day with an inspirational message given by an industry leading professional. This months speaker will be Alli Webb of Drybar. She will be here to discuss her rise from a career in public relations, to the creation of a highly successful salon based around one simple idea: No color. No cuts. Just blowouts. With just this basic concept, she was able to take this small side business run out of her home, and expand it to multiple locations, from California to New York with more coming soon.
Italy 2000 is very proud to be given the opportunity to host this memorable event and would like to thank Alli, Jenni and all the esteemed members of Step Up who will be in attendance. I personally would to thank Jamie Kogan, Managing Director for Step Up, Los Angeles, and to Christine Noriega-Roessler, Marketing and Events Director for Angeleno Magazine, for without them, none of this would be possible.
